Key information you should know:

1. REQUIREMENTS:

To request an accreditation, you must complete each steps of the registration and provide all mandatory information (National ID Card, Photo).

A few weeks before the event, you will receive a QRCode to be used at the accreditation center to retrieve your accreditation badge.

The accreditation badge will be requested to access each Paris 2018 - Gay Games 10 venue.

3. BACKGROUND SCREENING:

For security reasons and pursuant to the article of the Internal Security Code - Article L211-11-1, the Paris 2018-Gay Games 10 Committee is required to request background checks for all accredited. These background checks are carried out by the French Police Department. The Paris 2018-Gay Games 10 Committee does not have access to your personal information.

If you pass the background check, you will not receive any communication from Paris 2018. If for any reason you do not pass the background check, including an incomplete application, you will be informed. Although the notification will not include any other information or explanation regarding the failed background check, you will be able to contact the proper authorities should you wish to discuss the results.

If you receive a notification of a failed background check, you will not be able to be accredited, and your accreditation request will be cancelled. Paris 2018 will not ask you for details or explanations regarding your notification, and, due to data privacy issues, Paris 2018 will not be able to assist you in researching or understanding the notification. However, you will be able to contact the proper authorities should you wish to discuss the results.
